Notes on Sleep Analysis
Explanations of the methodology, data usage, and limitations of our scientific evaluations.
What does the sleep analysis measure?
Sleep stages, movement patterns, respiratory rate, and heart rate variability are recorded throughout the night. The data is captured continuously and then compared with reference values from sleep research.
How is the data evaluated?
The evaluation is carried out using AI-supported algorithms trained on validated datasets from clinical studies. Each analysis is additionally reviewed by medical professionals before a recommendation is issued.
Is the analysis a medical diagnosis?
No. The results are intended for orientation and support for physicians and research partners. A binding diagnosis or treatment decision is made exclusively by qualified medical personnel.
Which data is stored?
Only pseudonymized measurement values necessary for the evaluation are stored. Personal identification features are kept separately and are not linked to the analysis data.
How long is the data retained?
Raw data is stored for a maximum of 30 days after the evaluation is completed. Aggregated, anonymized metrics may be used for research purposes for longer, provided appropriate consent has been given.
Who is the platform intended for?
The platform is aimed at medical institutions, sleep laboratories, and research partners in Austria. Individuals can only commission analyses through a participating institution.
